Your responsibilities
Configuring and commissioning AV/VC/DS systems
Diagnosing AV/VC/DS equipment before it is sent for service
Training clients on the multimedia systems we have deployed
Pre-sales system presentations/demos
Supporting installers with technical questions during installation
Closing out installations – checking that the installer has done everything correctly and signing off the installation from the installer
Our requirements
Experience in a similar role
Ability to learn quickly and willingness to expand your knowledge
Knowledge of configuring audio-video, digital signage and video conferencing equipment
Familiarity with audio-video distribution (HDBaseT, Dante, AVoIP, HDCP, EDID)
Ability to troubleshoot audio-video distribution problems
Ability to read technical documentation for multimedia equipment
Client-facing communication skills – demo presentations at client sites
Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and Windows/MacOS/Linux/Android/iOS/iPadOS environments
Good command of English (training, discussions with manufacturers)
NICE TO HAVE
Knowledge of MTR, Zoom Rooms and Google Meet systems (Poly, Yealink, Logitech)
Knowledge of room booking systems (Eveo, Evoko, Yealink) and their configuration
Ability to configure multimedia systems (Extron, Kramer, Atlona, Poly, Logitech, Yealink,
Symetrix, Shure, LG, Samsung, Evoko, Eveo)
