AV systems for industry, energy and transport
PROAV designs and deploys audiovisual systems for companies in industry, energy and transport: video walls for operational KPIs and monitoring centres, conference rooms with video conferencing and wireless presentation, room booking, sound systems and room control. The team should see the key data from multiple sources on a single screen and be able to change the layout themselves. We have deployed such systems for Nomad Electric (photovoltaic farms), the air carrier Smart Jet and GATX Rail Poland (rail transport), among others.
A shared view of operational data. We place statistics, charts and KPIs from different sources side by side on a single video wall – with no switching between applications at workstations.
Users change the screen layout. A designated employee creates content layouts and adds sources themselves, according to current operational needs.
Smooth real-time image. We select processors and software so that live data and maps remain legible from anywhere in the office.
A system ready for expansion. We plan processors and mounting structures with spare capacity, so the video wall can be extended with further screens.
For companies in these sectors we combine video walls with processors and content management software, conference rooms with projection and video conferencing, interactive displays, wireless presentation, room booking, zoned sound systems and Digital Signage screens.
Solutions used:

In the office of Nomad Electric, a company managing more than 170 photovoltaic farms, we built a 2×2 video wall from LG seamless displays. The narrow bezels keep charts and tables legible even when stretched across several displays.
During the expansion phase we supplemented the system with LG 75″ displays, which will eventually be replaced by additional seamless modules. See the Nomad Electric project.
At the heart of the system is a UVS WBC40 video wall processor, which accepts signals from local sources, the LAN and the internet.
UVS Lucidity software lets the client create any image layout on selected displays – a single source across the whole wall or multiple data feeds at once. Free processor slots allow for expansion.

At the headquarters of the air carrier Smart Jet, we built a 110-inch video wall from four 55-inch displays in a 2×2 layout, fitted into a wall finish of sheet-metal panels.
The screen shows the position of the entire fleet, updated in real time, and is legible from anywhere in the open-plan area. See the Smart Jet project.
To control content at Smart Jet, we deployed the EVEO URVE system. A designated employee creates graphic layouts and adds remote sources, while a dedicated server also acts as a media player and allows messages to be managed over the LAN.
During team meetings, a presentation from a laptop or tablet can also be shown on the video wall.

In the GATX Rail Poland office at The Warsaw Hub, a 75-inch SMART Board interactive display was installed in a room styled as a railway container. In the huddle rooms and private offices we installed Sony displays with touch overlays.
In the conference rooms and other office spaces, we deployed BenQ InstaShow wireless presentation. See the GATX project.
Outside every conference room in the GATX office, we mounted an Evoko Liso touch panel on which employees check room availability and book it for a chosen time.
At reception, a 75-inch display shows a summary of bookings and information on where the meeting rooms are located.

Using a video wall processor with layout software. At Nomad Electric, the UVS processor accepts signals from local sources, the LAN and the internet, and the user arranges the data on the displays themselves.
Yes. At Nomad Electric and Smart Jet, a designated employee creates content layouts and adds sources in the software, without involving service engineers.
Yes. At Nomad Electric, the processor has free slots for additional cards, and 75″ displays complete the wall until further seamless modules are added.
On a video wall fed by an application and managed by a content system. At Smart Jet, a 110-inch screen shows the position of the entire fleet and is legible from anywhere in the open-plan area.
A video wall in an office is a tool for shared team work. If you need a monitoring centre operating around the clock, we design a control room with suitable displays and processors.
What data needs to be visible? Sources, applications, remote systems and how many of them there are.
Who changes the content layout? A designated employee, an operator or the IT department.
From what distance does the team view the screen? This determines the size of the wall and of the individual modules.
Is expansion planned? Spare capacity in the processor and mounting structure allows screens to be added without replacing the system.
