LED screens and Digital Signage for retail and services
PROAV designs and deploys audiovisual systems for retail and services: LED screens in showrooms and lobbies, video walls in customer service areas, networks of Digital Signage screens managed from a single workstation, and sound systems for commercial spaces. We integrate the screens into the interior design, and the content is meant to be changed by staff – without calling in a service engineer. We have delivered solutions like these at the Expondo offices in Zielona Góra and in Warsaw, in the ticket area of Zachęta and in the buildings of Pomorski Park Naukowo-Technologiczny (Pomeranian Science and Technology Park).
A screen that grabs attention. A large, bright LED screen becomes the backdrop to your product displays and the showpiece of the space.
A screen that fits the interior design. We match housings and mounts to the interior – the screen can become part of the wall, and the installation allows for cooling and service access.
Content changed by your staff. The client’s team arranges graphics, videos and announcements in simple templates, with a display schedule.
Many screens, one workstation. A single person runs the whole network of displays in a building: scheduling content and setting the screens’ operating hours.
In sales and customer service spaces we combine LED screens, video walls and information displays, a Digital Signage content management system and zoned sound. We tailor the scope to the size of the space, the distance from which customers view the screens and who will be changing the content.
Solutions used:

In the lobby of the Expondo headquarters in Zielona Góra we installed an LED screen 4 metres wide with a 2.5 mm pixel pitch. The large, bright image catches the attention of guests visiting the company’s head office.
The screen forms the backdrop to the area where Expondo presents its products. See the Expondo Zielona Góra project.
In the lobby of Expondo’s Warsaw branch we installed an LED screen 4 metres wide with a 2.5 mm pixel pitch, framed in a timber structure so that it forms a natural part of the wall.
The enclosure ruled out devices ventilated through side vents, so we chose a front-cooled screen that can operate inside a closed wall structure. See the Expondo Warszawa project.

In Zachęta’s ticket area we installed four frameless 55″ LG displays in two 2×1 sets on either side of a column. Information about the programme and ticket prices is legible from more than ten metres away and visible from different directions.
Two video walls make it possible to show different messages at the same time, e.g. the events programme and the price list. See the Zachęta project.
To manage content at Zachęta we used LG SuperSign software, which needs no external media players, while a lifetime licence eliminates subscription fees.
The team uploads graphics, videos and text on its own, arranges them in templates and schedules when they are displayed.

In the buildings of Pomorski Park Naukowo-Technologiczny we installed 51 LG displays across 6 floors. The screens show the list of companies and the office layout, and updating the list only requires editing the content in the system.
All the displays are managed by one person, who schedules content and sets the screens’ operating hours in the EVEO URVE system. See the PPNT project.

An LED screen forms a single seamless surface – at Expondo it is 4 metres wide and serves as the backdrop to the product displays. Walls of frameless displays work well, for example, above customer service desks, as at Zachęta. More: LED screens.
Yes. At Expondo’s Warsaw branch we framed the LED screen in a timber structure and, because the enclosure is closed, chose a front-cooled model.
Yes. At Zachęta the team arranges graphics, videos and text in templates and schedules them in LG SuperSign software, with no subscription fees.
At Pomorski Park Naukowo-Technologiczny one person manages 51 displays across 6 floors from a single workstation.
That is the starting point for choosing a screen. At Zachęta the messages are legible from more than ten metres away, and a brightness of 500 cd/m² keeps them readable in a bright interior.
Where and from what distance do customers view the screens? This determines the size, pixel pitch and brightness.
Who will change the content? Staff, the marketing department or an external agency – and how often.
What is the interior design? Built-in elements, materials, mounting locations, cooling and service access.
How many screens and locations? A single screen, a network within one building or many centrally managed sites.
