Bachmann
Do you work in a corporate office or a data centre? Then you have almost certainly come across Bachmann products at least once. The brand was founded 70 years ago in Germany. For more than half a century it was managed by the founding family. The consistency of the company's range, services and strategy, maintained for over fifty years, translates into extensive experience and perfected engineering and manufacturing processes for AV equipment.
In our audiovisual projects we mainly use proven Bachmann media ports. Although at first glance these devices may seem to be mere accessories, they are essential to the correct operation of video conferencing, discussion and wireless presentation systems. Bachmann connection units, fitted with power sockets, make it easy to connect key equipment such as delegate units to the mains. They also let you hide cables neatly and mount selected peripheral devices, extending the AV system with new functions.
Bachmann's table connection units include flush-mounted rectangular units with up to 8 modules, and round units with 4 or more power sockets. They provide easy access to power from every side of the table. The manufacturer also offers mobile media ports with 3 to 6 connectors. These products are mounted using aluminium brackets on both sides of the device.
The connection units are made of durable materials such as nickel-plated aluminium. This material is highly resistant to mechanical damage and high temperatures, and has a very attractive brushed finish that fits perfectly with modern interior styles. It is worth stressing that design is a real strength of the German company's products. Selected table media ports have received the Red Dot Product Design Award 2012, Innovation Award 2014, Focus Open 2014 and Good Design Award 2014.
Another advantage of Bachmann ports is their functionality. The units slide out with a light press on the metal cover, revealing the power sockets. Because the top of the media port is perfectly flat, it forms a seamless surface with the tabletop and blends discreetly into it. Thanks to their shallow depth, selected products can be mounted above a drawer.
Used in projects:
Bachmann media ports make organising and equipping your office easier. Choose units with the right number of sockets and connect all the equipment needed at each workstation. Table connection units let every employee comfortably use essential office accessories: monitors, printers, tablets and conference phones. During meetings in the conference room, you can also use your work laptop to remotely operate the video conferencing kit or wireless presentation system.
If you do not want to modify your tables by fitting connection units into them, use Bachmann’s portable devices. A media port can be conveniently mounted in any room with access to mains power, so you can then work on a tablet or notebook. This solution ensures flexibility and leaves the furniture unchanged.
Brushed aluminium combined with matt lacquer – the distinctive design of Bachmann table connection units fits perfectly into modern, minimalist interiors. They look excellent in rooms finished in Scandinavian, industrial, modern or Hamptons style.
