Adeo Screen projection screens
A well-designed projection system starts with the right screen – its size, format, fabric and mounting method. Adeo Screen projection screens are a permanent feature of the projection systems PROAV has been designing and deploying for more than 15 years – in auditoriums, boardrooms and conference rooms of every size. Every Adeo Screen is made to order, and our team turns that flexibility into a specific configuration for each room. Before we propose a solution, we study the building plans and inspect the room on site. The client receives a complete, commissioned system – screen, projector, mounting accessories and control – delivered by a single partner.
Selection based on a site survey and calculations. At the design stage we use specialist calculators, and our staff personally inspect the installation space. As a result, the image width, format and screen fabric follow from the viewing distance, window layout and lighting – not from a catalogue size.
The screen as part of a complete system. We select the screen together with the projector, ceiling lift, cabling and signal switching, and then integrate it with the room control system. A single button then switches on the projector, lowers the screen and gets the room ready for a presentation.
One partner from design to service. We work with general contractors, design offices, architects and electrical subcontractors, so the installation of the screen – including ceiling-recessed models – is coordinated with the other works on site. Once the system is commissioned, the client can rely on our service department.

We have deployed Adeo Screen screens in buildings with very different requirements. Each of these projects shows a different way of using a screen in a room design.
Polish Bank Association (Związek Banków Polskich). In the conference rooms we used motorised Adeo Screen ceiling screens working with projectors on ceiling lifts. When the presentation ends, the screens and projectors retract into the ceiling and the room keeps its prestigious look.
Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art. In the theatre hall we deployed a projection system with a large Adeo Screen roll-down screen designed for use in a stage environment.
Offices and institutions. At the IT Boom office in North Gate we installed a ceiling-recessed roll-down screen with side tensioning; at the Provincial Police Headquarters in Białystok – Adeo Screen roll-down screens complemented by an interactive display; and at the headquarters of the Polish Alternative Fuels Association – two roll-down screens in the conference room.
The manufacturer's wide range lets us select a screen for every type of room without compromising the interior architecture.
Wall and ceiling roll-down screens. The Basic, Rugby, Alumid and Linear SE series for training and conference rooms, and for large rooms the Max One (up to 6.5 m wide) and Big One (up to 8.5 m). We recommend side-tensioned versions (Tensio, Floating Tab) for high-resolution projection and for ultra-short-throw projectors.
Ceiling-recessed screens. Inceel, InSuperior and Max Inceel cases remain invisible once the screen is rolled up – we propose them for boardrooms, ballrooms and multi-purpose auditoriums.
Fixed-frame and curved screens and special fabrics. Frameless and Prestige frames, curved screens up to 17 m wide, grey ambient light rejecting (ALR) fabrics, acoustically transparent fabrics and rear-projection fabrics. We choose the image format from eleven aspect ratios – from 1:1 to cinema 2.40:1.

Business / Corporate. In boardrooms and conference rooms we design systems in which a ceiling-recessed or side-tensioned screen works with a projector on a lift and the room control system. This is how the Polish Bank Association rooms and the IT Boom office work.
Higher education. In university auditoriums, lecture halls and theatre halls we select large roll-down screens and fabrics suited to the lighting conditions, so the image is legible from the back row. One example is our project for the Theatre Academy.
Uniformed services. In briefing and training rooms we combine projection screens with interactive displays and centralised control, as at the Provincial Police Headquarters in Białystok. The room is ready to use at the press of a single button.
Training room and conference room. We usually recommend a roll-down screen 2–3 m wide in 16:10 or 16:9 format and, in rooms with large glazed areas, an ALR fabric.
Boardroom and prestige spaces. We propose a ceiling-recessed or side-tensioned screen integrated with the room control system.
Auditorium, assembly hall, ballroom. We design screens 5–8.5 m wide, often with acoustically transparent fabric when the loudspeakers are to be placed behind the screen. We write more about large-scale projects in the article Size matters: what you should know about large-format projection.
Cinema and performance halls. We select a flat or curved fixed-frame screen in cinema format and, for large stages, fabric alone attached to an existing structure (up to 12 m wide).

Which projector and what throw distance? We match the fabric to the type of projector – some ALR fabrics are designed only for standard projectors, not ultra-short-throw ones.
How much light will there be in the room during projection? This determines the choice between a higher-gain white fabric and a grey fabric that rejects ambient light.
Where will the loudspeakers go? If the loudspeakers are to be placed behind the screen, we specify acoustically transparent fabric at the design stage.
Can the ceiling take a screen case? We coordinate a ceiling-recessed screen with the suspended ceiling contractor and the electrician during the construction works.
Is a seam in the image acceptable? Above certain dimensions the fabric is welded – in cinemas and for demanding content we choose the size or fabric to avoid this.
Projection screens for your room
We start every project with a site survey and an analysis of how the room is used, and finish with a fully commissioned video projection system – with screen, projector and control.
