Logitech Video Conferencing

Team in a hybrid meeting with a Logitech Rally Bar and displays in a conference room

Video bars and video conferencing kits, such as Logitech solutions, now equip many small meeting rooms and huddle rooms. Organisations quickly discover, however, that the kit itself is only the beginning: meeting quality depends on the room acoustics, camera placement, how laptops are connected and a single, consistent way of operating every room. This is what PROAV does – we design and deliver video conferencing rooms, from single rooms to dozens of rooms across one organisation.

Clients looking for Logitech solutions usually want to equip several small rooms quickly and without an extensive installation, or to move to Microsoft Teams Rooms.

We help you choose the room model – BYOD or with a dedicated room computer – and select equipment that will work well in the specific room.

Solutions used:

Industries:

Huddle rooms and small meeting rooms

Meetings from your own laptop. In the BYOD model, users connect their computer with one or two cables and run the meeting in the application they use every day. This is how we equipped the smaller rooms in the IDEMIA office.

Camera and microphones matched to the room. We select the camera’s field of view and the microphones’ pick-up range to suit the room dimensions and table layout, so that every participant can be seen and heard.

Room acoustics. Glass walls and hard surfaces reduce speech intelligibility. At the design stage we point out where acoustic treatment is needed before the equipment is selected.

Microsoft Teams Rooms across many rooms

A room without the user’s computer. Kits with a dedicated computer and touch panel start a meeting from the calendar at the press of a button. We built a room like this for TM Toys, among others.

One standard across the organisation. When equipping many rooms, we design a repeatable kit and way of operating it, so employees start a meeting the same way in every room and the IT department manages the devices centrally.

Phased roll-out. We plan the deployment so that further rooms can be added without changing the standard and without rebuilding rooms that are already in use.

Solutions we recommend today

Yealink video conferencing systems. For small and medium-sized rooms we recommend Yealink video bars and kits, ready to work with popular meeting platforms.

Replicable Teams Rooms. For organisations equipping many rooms, we design rooms based on Biamp Devio UCX and Shure IntelliMix solutions.

Room booking. Door panels and a booking system, e.g. Evoko, show room availability and bring order to how rooms are used.

How we match the solution to the room

Huddle room for up to 4 people. A video bar with a wide-angle camera and a display sized to the distance from the table.

Room for up to 10 people. A kit with additional table or ceiling microphones, a touch panel and wireless presentation.

Larger room. A PTZ camera with optical zoom, ceiling microphones and a sound system matched to the size of the room. More about our approach: Video conferencing.
