FRACTHON
Fracthon is a company providing building commercialisation and bank financing services, focusing on high-standard development projects in attractive locations. As its business grew, the company moved its headquarters to a modern office building in the centre of Kraków. In the new office, PROAV integrated projection, wireless presentation, interactive displays, zoned sound and room booking into a single system that users control from portable touch panels.
The fit-out works were well advanced, and the client wanted the shortest possible delivery time. Our experience from more than 100 reference projects allowed us to split the deployment into phases aligned with the refurbishment schedule: we ran the cabling while construction work was still under way, and carried out installation, configuration and commissioning of the system once the space was ready.
The project coincided with the Covid-19 pandemic, and the client postponed some of the solutions until later. We therefore planned the infrastructure so that the system could be expanded quickly without any further installation work.
Solutions used:

Industries:

Faster meeting start-up. The client expected presentations to start without unnecessary configuration, and image and sound quality that would support effective in-person and remote meetings.
Many types of room. The system was to cover a large conference room, a boardroom, the CEOs' offices, a kitchen with a terrace, the reception and other common areas, each used in a different way.
Common operation and readiness for expansion. Devices in the rooms and offices were to be controlled in one consistent way, and the infrastructure prepared for adding the postponed solutions.
Two screens for different tasks. The main display system consists of an Adeo Screen Professional Tensio tensioned projection screen and an Optoma WU515T projector with a brightness of 6000 ANSI lumens. On the side wall we mounted a 65-inch Samsung display for presentations and remote collaboration.
Presenting with or without a cable. In addition to table connectivity boxes, we used a BenQ InstaShow WDC20 wireless presentation system, which displays the image on both the projector and the display. Sound in the room is provided by JBL Control 25-1 wall-mounted loudspeakers.

Working on an interactive screen. In the boardroom we installed an 86-inch BenQ RP series interactive display designed for business, equipped with the BenQ InstaShow system. Because the room is small, we placed two Sonance PS-S63T loudspeakers on either side of the screen.
Offices without TVs. In the two CEOs' offices, instead of TV sets, we installed professional 65-inch Samsung displays with the BenQ InstaShow WDC10C system, which shows content in Full HD at the press of a single button. Sound comes from JBL AC15 loudspeakers, and users can play music from their smartphones via Bluetooth.
Sound tailored to each zone. In the kitchen, because of the ceiling design, we used JBL CSS-1S/T wall-mounted loudspeakers, and on the adjacent terrace waterproof garden loudspeakers with a high IP rating. Further zones covered the toilets, the guest area in reception and the balcony next to the CEOs' offices.
Control in employees' hands. Wall panels allow the volume to be adjusted independently, the audio source to be selected and music to be played via Bluetooth, including on the terrace. Reception staff manage the music in the common area.
Central signal processing. At the heart of the audio system is a BSS BLU-50 processor with a BLU-DAN Dante module, and the loudspeakers are driven by Crown CSA and XLS series power amplifiers. We installed the equipment in a glass-fronted rack cabinet.

One app for rooms and offices. We designed the control system around an AMX solution with an NX-1200 processor. On portable touch panels running the AMX app we created a simple interface from which the operator controls the projector, the screen, and also the blinds and lighting.
Interior fittings in one system. In the final stage of the project we integrated the blinds and lighting with the control system using FutureNow modules, so operation from the panel is smooth and efficient.
Booking with room to grow. Next to the rooms we installed EVEO LOBO booking panels, which respond quickly to touch. The system can be expanded in the future with further modules, such as catering orders.
Fracthon employees start presentations faster and collaborate more efficiently – they share their screen with a single InstaShow button, and the interactive display in the boardroom lets them work directly on the screen. In the large room the projector and the display can show content independently, which makes it easier to combine a presentation with a remote meeting.
The rooms, offices, blinds and lighting are operated by one control system, and the sound in each zone can be adjusted independently. Room booking brings order to how the rooms are used.
The CEOs' offices gained professional displays and JBL loudspeaker sound instead of domestic TV sets, while the kitchen, terrace and reception gained sound systems matched to their design and outdoor conditions. In this way the office creates a consistent character for both work and meetings with guests.
We carried out the deployment in line with the fit-out schedule, and the infrastructure is ready for the solutions the client postponed. We also delivered wireless presentation in a similarly organised office at the Tpay headquarters in Poznań.
