Poly (Polycom)
Video conferencing rooms built on Poly (formerly Polycom, now an HP brand) solutions are in use at many Polish companies and institutions, including those fitted out by PROAV. We have designed and commissioned Poly systems in boardrooms, in large rooms divided by a movable wall and in compact meeting rooms, always together with projection, the sound system and the client’s IT infrastructure.
Organisations that have rooms with Poly equipment today usually face one of three decisions: extend the system to further rooms, move to a different meeting platform (e.g. Microsoft Teams Rooms) or upgrade the room.
We help make that decision based on a site survey and an analysis of how the rooms are actually used, not on the equipment catalogue alone.

Used in projects:

A large room divided by a movable wall. At the Bankers’ Club of the Polish Bank Association we deployed a Poly G7500 video terminal with an EagleEye IV PTZ camera that captures participants in a room 20 metres long. The system works with the existing sound system and discussion system, so the client did not have to replace audio infrastructure that was working well.
A boardroom with automatic framing. At the Bank Guarantee Fund we used Poly EagleEye Director II cameras, ceiling microphones and a Poly Trio 8800 conference phone, and fitted the smaller rooms with Poly Studio USB video bars.
Microsoft Teams Rooms and BYOD rooms. At TM Toys we built a Microsoft Teams Rooms space on a Poly kit with an EagleEye IV camera, and in the Tpay office we combined EagleEye Cube and Mini cameras with large-format displays.
Assessing the existing room. We start by checking which elements of the room still meet the organisation’s requirements and which hold work back: camera coverage, voice pick-up across the whole table, compatibility with the platform the company uses today.
Changing platform without rebuilding the room. When an organisation moves to Microsoft Teams, Zoom or Webex, we select a solution that keeps what works: cabling, displays, the sound system and control.
One standard across many rooms. When extending to further rooms, we propose a common operating standard so that a meeting starts the same way in every room.

Yealink video conferencing systems. For new rooms and equipment replacement we recommend Yealink solutions – video bars and kits for rooms of every size, ready to work with popular meeting platforms.
Repeatable Microsoft Teams Rooms. For organisations fitting out many rooms we design Teams Rooms spaces based on Biamp Devio UCX and Shure IntelliMix.
Sound in large rooms. Where picking up voices from the whole room is essential, we use ceiling microphone arrays such as the Shure MXA925.
A meeting room for a few people. A video bar connected to a laptop with a single cable, or a kit with its own computer when the room needs to work without the user’s equipment.
A boardroom. A camera with automatic speaker framing, ceiling or table microphones and a panel that starts the meeting at the touch of a button.
A large room and a divisible room. PTZ cameras with optical zoom, integration with the sound system and discussion system, and control tailored to the room’s operating mode. We start every project with a site survey – more about our approach: Video conferencing.
